Bu belgeler, Hak-İş’in doğruları söylemediğini, hükümetin şiddet ve baskı siyasetine arka çıkma çabalarını sürdürdüğünü göstermektedir.
Fazla söze gerek yok: Belge konuşur, Hak-İş susar!

Dear colleagues,
Support action to protect protesters and freedom of speech and assembly in Turkey: Join June 21 and 22 international protests
The ITUC is calling on all its members to support the on-going protests in Istanbul’s Taksim square and throughout Turkey.
Time is of essence and so we are asking you to act quickly on 21 and 22 June by organising demonstrations and marches at and around Turkish Embassy and Consulates. We anticipate this will be the first of a series of support actions. These dates coincide with actions organised by ITF and IUF.
Please find a contact list of Embassy and Consulates of Turkey here: http://www.mfa.gov.tr/turkish-representations.en.mfa
Also, please find attached a model letter that you should deliver to the Turkish Embassy or Consulate while gathering outside their building. You will need to explain to the highest rank diplomat available-ideally the Ambassador- that action is intended to ensure that Turkey guarantees its people their right to freedom of expression and assembly. The aim is to have the Ambassador or Consul to pass their message to the Government in Turkey.
The demands of this protest are as follows:
End violence and repression against peaceful protests and to address the demands made by the protestors;
Hold those responsible for the thousands of injured people and the deaths of Mehmet Ayvalıtaş, Abdullah Cömert, Ethem Sarısülük and Mustafa Sarı accountable, to dismiss them from their posts and to prosecute them before the law
Guarantee the right to freedom of assembly in all public areas, including Taksim square;
Ensure that trade unionists who exercise their right to freedom of assembly are not dismissed;
Immediately release citizens who have participated in the protests peacefully and to drop all charges against them;
Immediately release KESK trade unionists, detained journalists and all others unjustly held for legitimate acts of protests and opposition;
Remove all the legal and practical barriers against the exercise of trade union rights and the right to strike;
Ensure that injured protestors have access to adequate health care; and
Stop prohibitive measures against the use of social media.
Please organise actions and invite other trade unions, community activists and members of the media to increase the impact of your action.
Yours in solidarity,
Sharan Burrow
ITUC General Secretary
